Q&A with Colleen

I was recently interviewed on a website for a local mom's group I belong to. It made me stop to relect a little bit on myself and my interests, and although this is a different questionnaire, I'd like to share some of that here.

1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE ? I don't think so. I was born on St. Pattie's Day and being 100% Irish I was given an Irish name.

2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED? Last night watching American Idol, a story about a mom with a child who has Rett's Syndrome.

3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING? Yes.

4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT? I don't eat meat.

5. DO YOU HAVE KIDS? Two beautiful girls.

6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU? I'd like to think so!

7. DO YOU USE SARCASM A LOT? I'm not that clever.

8. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS? Yes

9. WOULD YOU BUNGEE JUMP? Heavens, no.

10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CEREAL? Buckwheaties

11. DO YOU UNTIE YOUR SHOES WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OFF? Yes but I mostly just wear Sandals and slip ons here in Florida

12. DO YOU THINK YOU ARE STRONG? Yes ... and no.

13. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM? Mango Sorbet (a non-dairy, frozen raw dessert I'll post later)

14. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT PEOPLE? How relaxed or friendly they seem to be.

15. RED OR PINK? They both have their time and place, but I mostly like blues, purples, greens

16. WHAT IS THE LEAST FAVORITE THING YOU LIKE ABOUT YOURSELF? It used to be my curly hair when I was a teen but now I love it!

17. WHO DO YOU MISS THE MOST? My mother.

18. WHAT COLOR PANTS AND SHOES ARE YOU WEARING? Black pants, no shoes, barefoot baby!

19. WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU ATE? Carrot Pecan Burger (recipe from Alissa Cohen's book)

20. WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO RIGHT NOW? Dora the Explorer

21. IF YOU WERE A CRAYON, WHAT COLOR WOULD YOU BE? Indigo

22. FAVORITE SMELLS? Violet, Rose, Linden

23. WHO WAS THE LAST PERSON YOU TALKED TO ON THE PHONE? (Veg News)

24. FAVORITE SPORTS TO WATCH? Honestly, none.

25. HAIR COLOR? Dark brown.

26. EYE COLOR? Green

27. DO YOU WEAR CONTACTS? Nope.

28. FAVORITE FOOD? Walnut Pate made by Rawbert in Cocoa Beach.

29. SCARY MOVIES OR HAPPY ENDINGS? I can't stand scary movies.

30. LAST MOVIE YOU WATCHED? Sicko by (Michael Moore). Made me want to move to France!

31. WHAT COLOR SHIRT ARE YOU WEARING? Grey.

38. FAVORITE SOUNDS? Songbirds, waterfalls & fountains, rain hitting the roof as I fall sleep.

40. WHAT IS THE FARTHEST YOU HAVE BEEN FROM HOME? Ireland

41. DO YOU HAVE A SPECIAL TALENT? I can play guitar
